Air – Episode 13 ~recap~
Thursday, April 28th, 2005It’s a recap! Nothing more. Choice scenes of the anime with each girl. The end shows a preview of the Air: Summer the movie, which is quite cute! I’d be looking forward to that.

It’s been a month and half since I watched ~light~ but the memories of what had happened is still fresh in my mind. I waited this long to watch 11 and 12 not because I have been busy with school, but rather a certain individual simply forgot about Air.
That aside, 11 and 12 must [...]
This episode of Air features retelling important parts of the story from Sora’s point of view. Sora is a crow that Misuzu found and is voiced by Yukito. Though the story is the same, Sora gets to hear conversations that weren’t for Yukito’s ears. It’s important to get Sora’s point of view, [...]
This episode of Air is the most disappointing one so far. Though the animation, art, voice acting, etc, etc is wonderful, the story was just not up to expection. It is way too rushed for the story to be enjoyable. Very unfortunate.
Summer features more super-deformed/over expression than any other previous episode thus far, but it turns serious quickly as the story progresses. Those who played the game agree that though a lot of the contents are cut out, it’s done well.
The episode continues where Dream left off with the story of Kanna, Uraha, and Ryuya.
Now with more pictures than you can shake a stick at!
I could write a really detailed synposis, but I think that’s kind of pointless. So I will generalize… somewhat – (yes, click on more to read my thoughts)
A touching episode that reveals the conflicts of the story. It’s heating up now! The story is underway with full force!
I took over 90 screenshots, and picked out only 13 to put on the webpage — some very beautiful backgrounds ^_^
Synopsis:
Continuation from the previous episode, Kano brought both Misuzu and Yukito into a vision of wheat field where she collapses. Yukito catches her, and shakes her awake but she remembers nothing of what had transpired. Hijiri catches up with them, and misunderstands the situation as Kano is in the arms of Yukito. [...]
Watching Air reminds me of movies like Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon or Hero. You can tell the great pain the studio went through for the anime to come together like this. It’s simply a head and neck above most other series I’m currently watching. The backgrounds of some scenes are simply magnificient. [...]
I’ve just watched the Triad version. Here’s what I think in comparison to Koi’s.
Encoding – Triad’s version is larger by 50 megs, yet I think Koi’s picture qualities are richer in color and sharper.
Timing/Typesetting – Both as just as good in the timing aspect, but I liked Koi’s typesetting style a bit more (even [...]
Beautiful.
Great voice casting, animation, character designs, soundtrack, and cute (but not too cute!).
The first episode introduces the key players of the anime. I don’t know what the anime is about other than Yukito searching for someone with wings? There aren’t much spoilers to be told from the first episode… in truth, there aren’t [...]
