The Ant Bully (2006)
It’s funny how well animated and drawn the non-humans are for films like The Ant Bully. Almost as if they need to go the route of Peanut, where the adults (and people) are out of sight and go “squab squawk squa.”
The Ant Bully is a story about a young boy who got bullied by others, who in turn decide to bully the ants. The ants are geniuses of sort, and one particular wizarding ant came up with the solution of turning the Bully into a little thing as big as an ant in order to stave off the destruction of the ant colony. Once done, the great Queen, instead of directing the death of Bully, said to the people, “teach the Bully, way of the ant.” Basically, it’s a movie about learning and understanding about others without resorting to violence and evil things. It’s a fun and educational film for kids ~ but wtf was it rated PG?! I… just don’t understand it.
