Lecture 108+ (02/07/07 Wednesday)
To the classmates who actually frequent my little blog for additional notes on the various classes – sorry ~ I got lazy.
To the people who visit this site because Google or whatever else led you here (probably anime images), you probably was happy you didn’t have to read all those dental school crap =)
To myself – stop being so ****ing lazy and post notes for future references!

Anyway, the school year is *kinda* over – everyone is on APEX (job shadowing) rotation now. For me, here’s a summary of my experience thus far…
Monday Apr 30 – Went in, greeted everyone, and started at front desk then followed lead assistant around like a lost puppy.
Tuesday – Friday – Erm, what the hell did I do? I don’t remember… bunch of things. Shredded paper, front office, talked to people, assisted a couple times, learned about digital radiograph, cleaned the autoclave, packaged and sterilized, vacuumed the carpet, seated patients, watch procedures, answered phone, played with the office software, etc etc… little bit of everything I guess =)
Monday May 7 – Ah… forgot what I did that day too. It’s all fuzzy now – it’s like work really =) It all bunch up today ~ bunch of procedures, whatever. Watched an endo RCT near the afternoon I think – that was fun!
Tuesday – Watched an endo attempt at sclerotic root canal ~ didn’t exactly fail, but mesial root wasn’t locatable unfortunately. Then went to school to check my mucocele and made appt for Oral Surgery this fri.
Wed – Got my braces adjusted, finally got elastic now in my anterior. Also had Bancha chop off the post on #22 bracket.. it was irritating the mucosa and caused the trauma that led to the mucocele. Annoying. You see the picture in Wiki? Mine is pretty damn big too =)
Anyway, that’s about it… I dunno, have to write journals and crap for APEX – and since we have to keep everything hush hush and confidential, I don’t think I’d post much of anything. Whatever =)
