The Da Vinci Code (2006)
Damn, okay, I’m writing this in May, which is 3 months after watching Da Vinci Code… Why am I writing about it now? Well, people often talk about a movie right after watching it - and their impression may be good or bad depending on the mood - but then, what about the lasting and overall impression that a person take away from experiencing the movie? So let’s see… what do I think of Da Vinci Code now ?
It’s a decent movie… a lot of people said it was boring and unnecessarily long - and I think I agree to a certain extent. Magneto’s role and the whole huge twist thing at the end … tho it was written in the book - was too long and silly for the audience to go through I think. I mean, how many plot twists do we need for a movie? And it’s not even ingenious plot twists like the one in … what’s that movie with two girls and boobies? Mmmmmmmmm………
AH! Wild Things =)
Anyway, the plot twists were stupid, and Tom Hanks … hairdo.. was silly. Characterization was alright - but… I dunno. Overall, it was pretty good I suppose. Ricky loves Audrey Tautou, and rightly so - cause she is … wait, can’t give that away, that’s major plot point. Anyway, watch it if you got time to spare, though it’s not the best movie around, it’s fun to watch.
