Tristan + Isolde (2006)

In the time just after independence from Roman domination across Europe ~ those of England fought a constant little battles with those of Irish. Harry Oswald was a champion of Britain, who through fate, met up with a rather sexy princess of Ireland. Harry was battle wounded and near death, and the sweet princess nursed the man back to health. As Harry was a rather sexy young man, the princess couldn’t help but fall head over heels in love — but, a woman in her position !! She couldn’t possibly !! Thus, with a false name but a real smile, the princess made sweet love with the young champ. He bid her to go with her, back to England — but alas, she had obligations to fulfill and poor Harry went home with a broken heart and scents he couldn’t forget. Tristan + Isolde was a tale not much different from Romeo and Juliet, and everyone watching knew the shit gonna hit the fan — hard!

As some of you might already know, Tristan + Isolde are laser cannons off of Minerva . They did some massive damage to Archangel a couple times, but as we all know, Archangel is truly indestructible! Anyway, after decided that Tristan is not gonna be possible, Isolde locked away her little heart and went along with her daddy’s decision to be married off to a random English king/prince for the sake of “unity and prosperity.” When Tristan heard that the Irish people are holding a tourney, he thought it’s a good chance to go prancing through Ireland to look for the sexy “faked name” girl! Little did he know, … wait, I shouldn’t ruin the movie by giving it away the plot point.

So anyway, Tristan + Isolde were a famed pair, and like Romeo + Juliet, they end up happily ever after. Wait… I think Romeo and Juliet died together horribly… yeah, come to think of it, Romeo went into deep sleep with the fake poison, Juliet sucked it up and decided to drink the rest of the poison, and then Romeo woke up and stabbed himself to death! Ah~hahaha! Okay, yeah, … anyway, I rather enjoyed Tristan + Isolde, even though it wasn’t that popular in the theater, I thought it was well done and the actors did admirably. So if you get a chance, check it out for some heart wrenching tale of a love that wasn’t meant to be.
