I watched Superman Returns when it came out in theater back in July, but I conveniently forgot to write about it. Maybe it was due the beginning of school… mmm, no, I wasn’t busy then… Oh well! I watched it again just now on Blu-Ray, and I have to say ~ HD Movie wasn’t all that. Watching movie in the theater is still better! And even though BD is better than DVD, my fuzzy memory think DVD and BD movie doesn’t look all that different after the fact. Remember, it’s the story that’s important ~ the graphical details become secondary after the first 10 minutes of “Ooo, and ahh.”

The story of Returns is rather simple ~ Superman went away for 5 years to look for his home that blew up based off of a tip from astronomers, came back to find Lois all changed. Meanwhile, Lex Luthor is cooking up a plot to do more evil. As Lex plot, Superman tries to win back the heart of (well, he never lost it in the first place) Lois. Oo, I love you Lois! Oo, I love you too Superman with your super penis! I just remember the joke about Superman and Wonder Woman!

Superman was kinda bored so he just started flying around looking for something to do. He’s flying over Wonder Woman’s house and sees her bedroom window is open. He stops for a glimpse and sees her lying on her bed naked. She’s lying there and squirming around looking real hot.

Superman was getting turned on looking at her so he decides what the hell, I can just fly in real quick, give her the ole’ in-out and be out of there before she even knows what hit her. After all he is Superman. So, in he goes, wham-bam and he’s out of there.

Wonder Woman knew something happened and says, “What was that?” The invisible man says, “I don’t know but, damn, is my ass sore.”

Anyway, there are quite a few nice action sequences with Superman showing off just how badass he is. I think it’s worth a watch for some jolly o’ entertainment if there’s nothing better to do. The sappy romance and saving each other stuff isn’t so bad… really!
