Fazoli’s Bottomless Bowl
I think it was about 10 years ago, when I first visited Fazoli’s in front of the Fashion Square mall and had myself their all-you-can-eat spaghetti feast. I remember pounding down some 6 or 7 plates, enough to make the register girl gawk at the crazy Asian man. Today, near UCF, I decided to try out the bottomless bowl again for just $3.49 (w/o tax). I had the meat sauce spaghetti first, then fettucini, then another meaty spaghetti, and finally, fettucini again. Unfortunately, I was at my limit after 3.5 bowls of noodles and some 6 breadsticks. I was rather disappointed with myself… I thought I could eat a lot more, but I guess not. Getting old I am. Beside the point, their meat sauce tastes like vegetarian meat… hardly any meatiness to it! I was like, “wtf am I eating” during the third bowl.
For some reason, my meal reminded me of Kobayashi, the eating champion from Japan. Crazy Japanese people…

You are getting old alright! Stop eating like a pig. you won’t live past 35! They don’t use good meat, well at least not completely meat. It’s probably grade E meat, or with lots of soy mix in it.
