Being an English major, familiarity with the name and talent of Carson McCullers is a given. However, I read The Heart is a Lonely Hunter about a thousand years ago, and saw the movie long ago as well. I remember Alan Arkin’s portrayal of Mr. Singer, but not who played the girl, Mick, or the [...]

Today was the first lecture exam of Anatomy. I believe I took the wrong approach to studying for the test, and I didn’t really like how I did. It’s unfortunate, but I think I missed at least 10 or more. Ah well – must study harder!

Today is my father’s birthday. How quickly time flies, for I remember distinctly, that I called him last year at this time and wished him well. Just the same, life hasn’t changed one bit – school, research, anime, book, and life in general. But something must change – else life would be [...]

The presentation went over by 15 minutes, so I missed class completely ~ oh well – I figure we’d still be on the same power point, just moving more down the leg and onto the foot.

After being far too nervous and excited to really sleep good, I left home at 5:20 this morning, arriving at the park-n-ride station in downtown Longmont right at the time the bus pulled up at 5:40. The express to Denver! Got on and situated, the lady driver, who was very [...]

I tell ya, the Xbox 360 is shortening my lifespan. It’s way too easy to get on Xbox Live and start getting my ass handed to me by better gamers, and I keep going back for more! Ahh… hate having to wake up in 3~4 hours for class in the morning, but [...]

As one of the most popular anime of today, Naruto is going to spawn many many movies – and Snow Princess is the first. To fully enjoy this movie, one might want to be familiar with the characters up until say… episode mmm, 100ish. Well… no, that’s not true ~ just the first [...]

I started watching this due to a strong recommendation from Eternal Velocity @ GameFAQs anime [...]

There are a lot of flash backs and sub stories interweaved in each episode that provides a lot of back drop. I won’t go into them. Eureka fights against the military, Renton delivers the Amita Drive. Together in Type Zero’s cockpit, the Amita Drive caused the MS to stall out and Eureka to pass out. [...]
