Writers’ block! I have it!
At least, I think so…
My next writing assignment is a review on Stanley Kubrick’s The Shining. I’m not particularly fond of the movie, so I’m stuck in the middle of finding out what I should write. Ahh… meanwhile, I’m still not writing any summaries for anime. They’re stacking up higher and higher, yet I can’t do them because I feel I should be writing for my English paper instead of writing for anime! UGUU!
Earlier today, we went off to Gatlin to clean up the house completely. I found so much junk in my room, hidden away … I even found 50 dollars from god knows how many christmas ago… I left it in the envelope, took it home, and promptly forgot about it amidst the bustling of the holiday. The house is really .. empty now, except for the living room. The weird thing is, the house still doesn’t echo within the room. I think the walls are wet within, and it’s dampening the sound. We’re getting the roof replaced soon ~ under contract with the Andrew’s Roofing to replace it for astronomical figure of $10,450. Not sure if it will cost only that, since the interior drywall shows wet spots.
It’s troubling.
Anyway, to continue, after cleaning up the house, we started using pressure wash to get rid of 13 year grime left behind on the drive way. At some spots undershade, it’s so nasty and old — there are fungus/mold growing on the concrete that even the pressure washer can’t get off.
We cleaned and washed until 5:30, then went to eat dinner at Chen’s. Another night of yummy Squid & Cuttlefish in XO sauce.
Ahh, I don’t want to write the paper… uguu…. mustn’t fall into trap of opening another anime episode.
Next weekend, I’m considering going to watch 1) Wedding Crashers 2) The Island 3) Stealth 4) Chocolate Factory 5) Sky High 6) Must Love Dogs .. or subset of the above … maybe 3 or 4…

I haven’t seen any of those movies… let me know if you would like my company. I need to start doing some stuff before grad school starts. =( I was thinking of going to this (http://vps.tribuneinteractive.net/orlandosentinel/latinjazzfest/) Latin Jazz Fest next Saturday… I figure I could run into some Latino girls… American girls aren’t too fond of me, maybe I’ll have better luck with my own kind.
