Clubbin the night away
Almost exactly one month ago, I went with Juan to check out Mako’s and saw some ass shakin that left me bogglin. Then two years ago, I went with Rob, Nelson, and Trish to Independent’s Bar and drank so much Long Island, I left my mark in I-Bar’s toilet, sink, trashcan, streetside trashcan, streetside curb, pavement outside of the car, paper bag inside Trish’s car, pavement outside of Trish’s apartment, toilet inside Trish’s apartment. Yup, that’s right Rob, I remember every single time I went! Thank you guys for taking such good care of me!
I didn’t get that drunk after that night and I probably never will again. It was an experience — too bad I merely collapsed instead of staying awake and doing things I can’t remember the next day. I’m afraid I’d never build up the tolerance =(
After that night, I remember going back to I-Bar several times and seeing a flier for the Goth Wednesday Night with darkwave/industrial/rave/techno/trance music and commenting that maybe Dave would like it =) Yesterday, I experienced the Goth Night and it was sorta what I expected. I really thought there’d be more darkwave type music (even though I can’t really identify the difference between such and industrial though). But I think Dave would’ve loved the environment.
Anyway, unlike previous occasions where I would go with rum+coke, long island, something weird bought by Nelson — I only had a lil Bud Light. Heck, there wasn’t even the jelly shots that I had in Mako’s. Diana really dressed up for the occasion, fitting in with everyone else while Patricia and I stood out. Though I only flailed (danced) about for a bit, it was pretty fun! I think I still prefer just watching movies at home though… especially with the lack of sleep, I couldn’t even handle dissection well today. I probably screwed up the entire experiment because my hand shook more than usual =( Actually, I think I should blame the Steak and Shake — the shake left me with a slight bowel problem this morning. I bet it’s because they never EVER make peach milkshake, and they gave me a bad peach! I should’ve gone with the cookie and cream like a good Chinaman. Oh well.

I agree. I got over the clubbing thing. It’s not for me. I would rather stay at home playing video games and watching TV.

I’m amazed at the lack of gayness.

Haha! The gayness went away for a bit, but it crept back slowly. It’s the gnomes.
