Ahh, it took me 3 or 4 hours, but I went through the recording and revised the notes. It’s quite hard, especially with the stupid m3000 unidirectional microphone!

Summary:
The lecture went over different types of saccharide and lipids. Basically, these are the things we have to know according to the review session
- Carbohydrates
- know monosacchride: glucose, galactose, fructose, and ribose
- know disaccharide: maltose, sucrose, lactose??
- know polysaccharide: starch, glycogen
- how to form hemiacetyl, hemiketal
- Lipids
- Know triglyceride, fatty acid, unsaturated, poly unsaturated, generalized things
We’d start hitting the amino acids hard next week, and we’d be expected to memorize all 20 AAs.
